While Marbella may be well known for its glamour, there are still spaces in the area that stand out- even among such high competition. One of those places is La Scala Marbella, where old-word customer service and attention to gastronomic detail pair with classic, elegant settings. An Italian restaurant with a focus on truffle, risotto, pizza and meat dishes, La Scala offers both an a la carte menu and a three course menu, as well as special menus for events. On the pricier side, the quality of the food is well worth it however, with dishes expertly made from scratch. The décor is all light, airy spaces and cream tones but with a traditional angle. Think padded armchairs, rich fabrics and open fireplaces. The service too is exceptional, with waiters and the owner Tibbi all attentive to guests. The one downside? The parking. Despite having a carpark, La Scala’s parking area only has room for around 6 cars, and parking on the streets around the restaurant can be difficult to come by.
